Hi Alex. Nice to hear the old one came out easy, did you have the engine hot before removing ? also its a great feeling when you have change the injector and you hear the engine burst into life again cheers Arctic.

I collected his car at two, drove it home (about 12 miles) and having had a conversation with another friend, it was decided to time the job.......the car was up and running from start to finish in 38 minutes !!!!!! Whether or not I was lucky, who knows? but what I will say is after speaking to Mickyboy on Thursday following a leakback test (using a Mike Noc type test rig), three replacement injectors arrived on Saturday morning.......excellent service It made a huge difference to see how others tackle the job, and the relief was palpable when the injectors simply pulled out with fingers once the clamp nuts were removed. |

I can't go taking the credit for the test rig Chris - it was copied from Marinabrian and his Frabtel Leakbacktesteromat3000. Last edited by Mike Noc; 15th September 2020 at 07:19.. |
