Only one way for me get under the car you also check the lower wishbone bushes at the same time, steering rack, turbo hose, small hose going to the engine block, all drive shaft gaiters etc the list can go on while you are under the car, the visual gives you an insight to prevent trouble before it happens

Didn't someone on here get the pipe stuck down the dipstick tube and it snapped and needed the sump dropping to remove ! I don't mind lying under the car with the undertray off checking everything is looking okay , besides it's nice to have a little lie down when you can lol ! It must be an age thing !

With the Pela pump there is no chance of that happening. The pipe is too robust but if folk try to push drinking straws down there, well ---
