Yes there is.
The rear tailgate glass is bonded to a metal frame. Open it and you will see it.

You are so right, I was looking for a frame around the outside of the glass. Not one bonded onto the inside of the glass.

What did you clean off with before re-bonding?

Thinners and then IPA. I removed any loose sections of the original bonding material and cut X hatching in to the surface of the rest. Then generally roughened the surface of the old bonding material.

I posted a tourer rear window all the way to Holland, and to my surprise it actually made it in one piece, was sent with DPD.

The 75 TAIL glass is clear -the ZT tailgate glass is a darker tint to match the rear side glass but otherwise all interchangeable - to find a working ZT tourer rear screen ie all heater elements working is like the holy grail. Working 75 tourer rear screens come up quite regularly.
