My 2002 Rover 75 Tourer strutts have no signs of wear and still on the same gas arms, and i always use these never really open the main boot.
the car has done some miles too, and regularly has my logs in the back (bagged) for my log burners so always using the rear window. no cracking, splitting or wear really, i wonder if people have placed weight on rear tailgate window and over time that causes the cracking? as i say mine has not done this, but to be fair, ive had mine wax injected into the body of the car also, such as the tailgate door too, so that may be a reason mines as good as new. 18 plus years on |
