We have ordered some with RDS and some with Analog TV.
The problem is that it has become an Either Or. Its a No brainer pretty much fr those that have ordered with DVB-T I Believe.
But the others, if Analog TV was important then we have to make a choice or cancel.

Hello Sean

Just got the email, NOT good news, are they going to reduce the price?. As I have paid for the TV option as well as RDS and TMC on the unit as per your invoice.

They were aware of the problem a while ago, I was going to order the unit from Kathy, before you come on the scene, they knew there was a problem with the TV which I have conformation email from Cathy which dates back to 5th March, so why are they only telling you about it now? If they are or you are willing to reduce the price of a DVT-B unit, by an equal amount of the cost of the TV

I wait to hear back from you.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your response, That may well be but we would have to assume that when the factory agreed to add the RDS that they would have addressed the issue. I can only go on their commitments to me.... I think you mean , we should reduce the price of the DVB-T?

There are an additional 2 screws under the felt mat in the tray, slowly prise up the felt from the front and you will see them.

Just wondering if anyone has managed to get TomTom 7 with full UK maps working on the device. I'm considering it as an alternative to IGO.

Fraser

I think there is a problem with the voice on TomTom 7 it clips it, you only get half the command, If you really want TomTom you will have to use version 6, but you are able to use a skin on the IGO and it is a TomTom look alike, if you use the right skin with IGO it looks much better and has as better GUI than TomTom:-

See this like to use the TomTom skin

Tony,

I just can't seem to get the copy of IGO which I have working at all. I don't suppose you have a copy which is ready pre-configured for the Unit, available for download?

Once I get (if I get) my head unit from Radioguy, I will do you a copy (for you to try) and upload it.

My current head unit only runs in 480x234, so it's pointless uploading it right now. If Sean keeps to his word, I will do it before the National Meet.
