Default How much are you paying for your insurance?

Hi Everyone,

Just had my reminder through for my Insurance for my 54 ZT-T CDTi...... nearly £400.

So I had a look on confused.com and got it down to £304....I rang my current broker back (the policy shop, they do my bike ins' too) and they undercut the deal offering me £300.

Here are the details

I am 42 with a clean licence and 8 yrs no claims
Living in Cheshire

The insurance cover by Equity....

Fully Comp
30k miles per annum including business use
Protected no claims
£200 XS
Spouse included
Free Green card
Legal cover
Car Valued @ £10 K

How does that compare to your Insurance?

Jamie

Way cheaper than mine!

Paying £450 a year, car value at £5k and 10k miles a year, 10+ years no claims, fully comp, not protected.

Come April, following Paul's (somewhat unfortunate) report on their good efficiency, I'll be moving to Esure!

I'm paying just over £400 for mine, plus more for breakdown and legal protection. I've been with Direct Line for 12 years, and have full no claims bonus. I should ring round for more quotes but never get round to it. It possibly is expensive, but I'm sure I'm not paying much more than now than for my previous Mondeo, or even the 1.4 Polo I had before that.

I was with Direct Line before....but moved all of our Insurance policies to The Policy Shop when I bought the ZT, between the ZT, the Wifes Punto and the bike insurance the move saved me nearly £300 on our annual insurance bill, then they sent me a £25 cheque for reccomending the wife.

Saving £325 in total.

Cheers

Mine is quite good concidering I'm aged 25.

up for renewal soon,
AA
£250 (3rd party) or £400 (full comp)
valued £4000
7 ncd
Don't know the little details like windscreen and audio.

I think AA have screwed up some how. All other insurers quote £600-£1300
