Exclamation Electric Seats Troubleshooting

Hi guys! My name is António, from Portugal and I have a 75 Connie 2.0 CDT

I was wondering if anyone can give me a tip on how to troubleshoot an electric seat problem that I got when a friend of mine was in the passenger seat and spoiled it. I don't know what he has done but my passenger seat is all the way back and the switches dont work. The only thing I've noticed is that when I operate the switches to go back and forth I hear the cables cluncking (it's like they were trying to move) and the motor gets hot. Anyone got any ideas??

Thank you!!

Check the runners, sometimes a coin can block the seat movement.

Thumbs up Solved

Hey guys! Just updating! I just figured out that my friend pulled out the switch and it got stuck, so the seat motor was constantly working pulling it backwords
