Maybe a stupid question, (I will be installing a fbh over winter as its chilly here in far NE) and wondered whether we can use any of the webasto fuel pumps listed online (for other makes such as land rover or jag etc) as there seems to be many which look very similar but very few if any R75s listed.

The answer is yes but you would need to do something with the connector as it may not be the sane as what is on how cars.

How do I know this because Steve (devlish ) recently kindly sorted me out with a landrover disco one.

Both the FBH & the pump have yet to be fitted

Default Update.

Well, after a faff with the dosing pump I connected it all up today. Pin 3 to ground (it's a 98570B) and it fired up! Amazing. Dunno if this is right but temp went to 78 degrees on the obd after around 20 mins before it ramped down. Waiting now for the chinese remote.
Many thanks to Steve (Arctic) for that incredible how to (with great pics) and Devillish for superb technical info.
Cheers
Heddy.

Talking of dosing pumps, I've just bought one of THESE having managed to goosh one of the pipes when removing the original pump yesterday

Anyway, that's the least of my worries, as I have to figure out why the FBH is corrupting the K-Bus, following on from French Mike's how too I've replaced a couple of gash resistors on the PCB, but I'm not really tempted at the moment to fit it to the car until I can talk to it with T4, and the overhaul kit arrives.

Still I suppose I can get on with fitting the cubby box timer, and the telestart while I'm waiting
