Hello dear forum members and T4 specialists.
I need your help. I want to adapt the new remote control ignition key to the car. The car Rover 214 1.4 1996 release.
What color cable does T4 use for this job? What menu to choose in the program DRE0008Y?

DTC00019A is the lead for security, however if the car has a 16 pin connector, then the yellow lead is the one for the job

Hello Brian.
The car has a 16 pin connector.
I do not have a yellow cable.
Brian do you have a pinout for the yellow cable connectors?
I will try to make it myself.

How to sync old remote control? Which T4 cable to use for this job?
And which program menu to enter?

the car does not start and does not turn on the starter. The immobilizer indicator is on.

If you're just trying to re-sync the remote fob, unlock the door with the key (but don't open it), then repeatedly keep pressing the lock button on the fob.
If it re-sync's, the doors will lock & you should then be able to lock/ unlock & start.

If it is a new fob or used one from another car, you will need your T4.
