Roger Whittaker, one of the UK’s most celebrated folk music singers, has died aged 87.
He is best known for songs Durham Town and could sing in several languages.
Whittaker sold almost 50 million records worldwide

I've got one of his LPs from way back. Sad to hear of his passing which prompted me to look at his WiKi. I didn't know of his varied and interesting background nor of the shocking fate that befell his parents in Kenya.
