It's gone dark & chucking it down here, No high winds as of yet. I've been watching some of the south coast web cams which re being buffeted & a few of them have gone down, This IOW webcam at the Needles is still live & a bit wild down there.

Wasn't bad here until a couple of hours ago when the wind ramped right up and rain to match. There's a wee Blue T1t on the bird feeder hanging on for dear life!

Bleddy hell! It's wild here now, It's howling down the chimney. Just been out to the garage as one of the gutter sections has come adrift in the high winds so I took it off to put inside the garage before it went airborne, The wind nearly ripped the garage door off it's hinges Very cold out there too, Time for a hot toddy me thinks.

Same here, spent ages watching the Forth, huge waves generated by the wild wind coming off the north.

On the face of it they didn't look too bad - maybe.

Here's what came out of the washer when we'd finished:

Big thanks to the man himself. What a gent Rich is

Meanwhile, someone else was bored with standing around outside, and it was quite windy, so she thought that settling down somewhere warm and comfortable was in order.....

And she even, very kindly, made space for the guy who lives there when we'd packed up and had the kettle on.

She did move, and very quickly, once the biscuits came out .

It was great to spend a few hours with Rich and his family. He's keeping going and was in good spirits.

Cheers mate. Take care of you and yours.

Oh, and one of his chickens escaped just to add a bit of interest to the afternoon. She was safely back at home before Q & I left.

Cool

Morning everyone.

It’s a lot calmer this morning. Yesterday the wind hit 78mph.

Getting to like the homemade bread, made a rustic loaf yesterday. Unfortunately I ate most of it yesterday. Oh! Well I’ll just have to make another one I suppose.

Car washing today.
