Good luck this weekend.
Because the k bus is joined together - so all wires are 'common', the t4 isn't always the most useful tool - it just helpfully tells you there is a problem on the k bus, and gives a few pointers which connectors to look at.

I've just recently had almost the identical issue on my ZT-T.
I was in the process of stripping down the dashboard / foot well fascias and unwrapping the K-bus header connector up behind the LSM when I thought it might be an idea to quickly check the boot. Sure enough, in the CD changer compartment in the boot, there was a connector including a K-bus wire (white/red/yellow) sat in a pool of water. The round 9-or-so pin plug into the CD changer was also showing signs of corrosion when dissassembled. Dried the unused connector off, and disconnected the CD changer round plug, and voila! All systems restored. My next place to check would have probably been the electric seat connectors - my thoughts being that if the carpet had gotten wet with all the snow etc. recently that maybe the plugs had gotten wet there too. Failing all of that I would have continued with the K-bus header plug diagnostics. Worth a check of the easy things before the hassle of stripping down the dash! |

Hello guys so a quick update! And a massive thank you to Chris!
After being completely lost on my findings Chris very kindly booked me in to see if he could find the problem After checking the basics and resorting to co289 plug he found there was something sucking power giving about 6 volts. hense the intermittent problem. And finally narrowed it down to the reserving sensor module so currently driving it for a bit to check the fault doesn't come back again Absolutely over the moon with the service and result So thank you Chris! Ps please correct me Chris if I got anything wrong |
