Default Rover 75 Contemporary SE 2.5, 2005 for sale £2,000

75 Contemporary SE V6 2.5 litre
This is a nearly one owner car. I worked as a consultant to Rover for c 25 years and would buy an ex-management car directly from them every few years. This is one of the last to be built (March 2005, the company collapsed in April) and I purchased it as an ex-management car from Longbridge shortly after, so I’m technically the second owner. (it has the original MG Rover Group plates).
It has been well looked after, regularly serviced and is by far the best car I’ve owned in my life. It’s certainly in much better condition that most 75s of that year and has been maintained by Midlands mechanics who know the marque well, including MG Rover Repair for the last few years.
It’s done 120k miles, with the cam belt replaced at 90k miles and the last full service in November 2015.

It’s silver and MOT ‘ed until late August. Located near Warwick.
Features include-
Cruise control
Highline Navigation (sat nav)
6 CD autochanger
Electric sunroof
Power-folding mirrors
Harman Kardon Premium hi-fi
Rain sensor wipers
Parking aid
TV
Heated leather seats
Front and rear foglamps
Bluetooth (not standard – added after purchase)
The wheels were refurbished last year and it is in excellent condition, with just a few minor scratches and dings.
After nearly 11 years of driving it, I’ve decided I should accustomise myself to something else, before I get too old!
£2,000 ono

So it's ok to say a car is worth every penny but not express a contrary view? There are much lower mileage equivalents on sale on Autotrader for less, so seems over priced to me. Sorry if my opinion offends. This forum is for buyers, as well as sellers.

It's a lovely looking car but I have to agree to a point with the above
I think this car is probably worth more to OP than the true resale price.

That said I'm sure it's been very well loved and cared for and wish the OP well with the sale.

Seems nice but seriously overpriced for a 120,000 mile V6 saloon in probably the least desirable colour. No offence meant just giving guidance to the uninitiated.

It's a lovely car - negative comments are unfair and detrimental to the sale.
