One thing I did learn at the vaccination centre was that the NHS letters that are sent inviting folk to book a vaccination are almost always followed up by your local GP via text within a few days, so if you try to book online and find as myself and many others have that you are being asked to travel many miles for vaccination it maybe worth while waiting a few days before booking on line that way you may get a centre close to home via your GP and save yourself a journey..

I had exactly that experience Ian. Letter arrived last Friday, and when I checked online, I was looking at a minimum 40 miles each way trip. Decided to leave it until my GP got in touch - which he did this morning and I'm booked in for Monday afternoon
