Sat nav not working

I recently purchased a cdti 05 connie with sat nav/ tv/radio/cd ,i think what you call a hi line, it is original with the "wood surround" and apart from tv all worked fine.Then suddenly sat nav has stopped.I have looked on line and in forum and cant see a unit similar to this,and in some of the threads it mentions cd in boot.Whereas on the facia of mine there is a slot for a memory card .I have followed the instructions in the manual to reste the sat nav but still sat nav just wont open, occasionally I get a message saying cant detect maps.
Any ideas?

This a picture of unit doesnt look like anyt of the ones IO have seem on the forum Not the best picture will try to get a one in daylight.,
