Hurts me to admit but require help/advice with handbrake shoes
have read through How To's plus Mr Haynes, but I have to admit but Im in need of advice.
My intention today was to replace handbrake shoes,I managed calipers Ok,plus disc removal plus handbrake shoes, noting spring position etc. But after 2hrs of attempting replacement,no joy so what am I doing wrong, Ive started by placing lower edge of shoes with spring attached into slots of handbrake expander at base, then the intention was to fit one retaining spring and screw to hold one shoe in place while I dealt with the aduster and top spring....however at the moent I am just unable to get shoes seated in expander with spring fitted and move on!! Frustrating is not the word for it,and I dont normally give in easily (plus its now raining!!!) But seriously guys can someone give me the idiots guide to fitting handbrake shoes and springs eic, working around wheel hub and nut,,thanks
