Default Powerfolds Soon, Just a Query

If the weather ever improves a Pair of PF's may go on the ZT. .

I've not yet got to do any investigations on the ZT's wiring for the mirrors yet , its been a bit wet down here !

But did the easy swap over of the Door switch this morning between downpours ,

so ..Q. when I press the Mirror Button , there is a relay click down inside the door .

Is this indicative of anything?? maybe even the wiring is already there ?.

just wondering ?

Chris.

PS the car is a late 2003 and has all the wiring in for the electric seats, and my cruise wiring was there as well.

To simply check if you have the door looms in place, remove the switch pack and see if the wiring plug to the switch is fully populated, if a couple of gaps are present, then you need the door looms.

The connection at the 'A' pillar also needs to be populated with the pins for connection of the door looms. Some cars had part of this plug deleted due to Project Drive.

Hi Pab
Is it possible to get these to work if you haven't got the correct door looms?
Best regards
Tom

I have managed to fit the powerfold mirrors even without the correct door looms, luckily the A pillar loom was already fitted. But it still took a total of 4 hours to complete the job.
Regards
Tom

all the click means is that the relay in the switch unit is working. it wont tell you the wires are there or not.

as said. only way to check is if there are 2 empty slots on one of the switch unit plugs then you dont have the wires.
