Default key question ??

when i picked up my ZT the spare key had been crushed my the last owner !!!! my question is, can I use a used key from another car and program it to unlock the car ? i still have the transponder and the blade from the crushed key but the fob and circuit board are trashed. can't afford a new key right now.

Yes, you can reprogramme a used or s/h circuit board if you've got Toaf (use the search). You need version .43 not the latest, MarinaBrian/Trevor posted the instructions. Easy to follow, I've done several.

Regards
