Hello and Goodbye.
Hi All, Just to let Everyone in the Club know that as of this Post I shall no longer be taking any more part in the Club.
Due to pressure economically and from the Wife I have decicded that I will sell my Car and move on to a Smaller, Greener and more Economical form of transport. I would have liked to retain my car but storage would have been a problem. I have left my Club Badge on the car for when it goes and I hope that the New Owner will take steps to join your Happy Band. My time in the Club has been relativley short and my contributions small, however, I did meet some wonderful people in the Club and I wish those, and everybody else, All the best for the future and Happy Motoring in your superb 75,s and Zt,s. Kind Regards to All, Arry. |

Thanks,
But with the new car I will be getting 70 mpg and it will cost £20 a year to tax. Add that to a 7 year warranty, cheaper insurance as well as a happy wife there,s no conest, Arry. |

It seems more people these days are looking at the incentives of smaller greener cars with lower emissions and tax bands,my wife talks regularly about following suit.
I hope the new owner of your car will take up membership of the club,i see it is a desirable specification car.. I would also like to thank you for your input to the club and to take this opportunity to wish you the best of luck in the future. |

IMO this is also the reason fuel is staying high, with low emmision cars charging so little road tax, the gov is trying to get as much as they can from the tax %. What concerns me is essentially this will be the trend as they start bumping up fuel more and more to recoup the loss in road tax which will effect people who have older cars, and pay road tax already worse off than those in the situation to replace with a eco car such as yourself. BTW, not having a go, just a statement and observation of the trends imo.

hey Arry, please pop back from time to time to post if you feel like it.
Good luck with the new motor. I'm after a neater, cleaner, cheaper to run and quieter missus with certainly fewer emissions lol Uh oh quick she's coming...... ATB. Steve
