Looking for a Garage to replace the Timing Belt on my MG ZT 190+
Does anyone know of a garage - not too far from Hampshire - that has the tools and is able to replace the Timing Belt on my MG ZT's 2.5 V6 engine?
Martins in Winchester used to be able to do this - but they have told me that their toolset has broken. |

Beech Hill Garage, Beech Hill Reading, Berkshire RG7 2AU They have serviced my ZT180 and I recommend them- did my belts. They are South of the M4 bordering North Hampshire. They are a MG specialist. Chris S.

Hello Tony and a warm welcome too!
You live in a lovely part of the world! Russell of MG Rover Solutions https://mgroversolutions.co.uk/ will come out to you and does this job as a specialism. He has done the KV6 belts replacement twice for me over the years and is competitive on price😊. All the best, Nicholas/Zircon |

Thanks guys for the various pointers you sent me. I have now booked my car into the Beech Hill Gararge and looking forward to getting the job done.
I've had this car since I ordered it off the production line in Feb 2004 and intend to keep looking after it. The ZT is a great car to drive - and I have driven lots of other cars in this country and abroad. I have yet to find a car that I would prefer to drive. Zircon, you are correct, I do live in a good part of the world - but so is Guildford - where I was born and raised. |
