HI
I'll try and do that but not anytime soon, sorry. I have to give priority to keeping the the Yamaha fit (supposed to give it a 16K service but so far only changed the oil!) and getting the Matchless back on the road (major engine rebuild). Need to be ready if lockdown ends. JohnnyBG PS earlier on in this thread GaryGee posted this - "Found this very useful vid the other day, don't know if the guy is on here https://youtu.be/Tc4Fvg9GWYY __________________" But apparently the motors referred to in the video are wrong and Stocktake posted this: "The link above is totally the wrong motor as the connections are a different type; These are the correct connections " the link takes you here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JOHNSON-1....c101195.m1851 JBG Last edited by JohnnyBG; 9th March 2021 at 13:03.. |

The matchless will be easy compared to the Yamaha as long as you can get spares. Good luck macafee2 Last edited by macafee2; 9th March 2021 at 13:05.. |
