pinch bolt troubles
grrr ive snapped the bolt clean off the pinch bolt thread and its going nowere lol so is this a common problem and how can bolt b removed

undo the track rod end .this will allow move the hub further out and get a decent swing at it . heat it then wack with a punch and a club hammer

If we are talking about the upper pinch bolt that holds the strut to the hub carrier , this is what I had to do ........
http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=84261 May be of help if you have just snapped the head off The bolt is only threaded in one half of the hub . In my case the threaded half came out easily with a stilson wrench just getting a bite on the projecting threads ; it was the plain shank which had seized solid and had to be beaten severely !

I have been through this today. I gave up with the upper pinch bolts and removed everything else instead. I had to use a scaffold pole to remove one of the hub nuts.
Go through everything then snapped a strut top bolt by mistake.

well 4 hours later, heat broken tools and blunted drill bits n its still stuck lol
