Did venture into the garden for 5 minutes to defrost the bird bath and fill up the seeds.

Pleased to report the toilet cistern is now filling as it should with a steady flow rather than a pathetic dribble! All that was wrong was the rubber diaphragm in the valve needed cleaning. Love simple jobs!

The toilets at our local police station were put out of action by a vandal. Some months later a local reporter enquired about it and the police response was:

"We still have nothing to go on".

It's been raining all day here, proper dark & miserable. It'll be a top tea again tonight, I've had a pork casserole in the oven for around 3 hours, it smells really good if I say so meself
