Checked the Nearside plenum drain on the 75, I am glad to report its dry but the actual hole looked full of dirt so I managed to poke a bike cable all the way through, there is now a little pile of dirt under the car

Certainly peace of mind checking these, especially as we have some right wet weather coming tomorrow and Friday.

Didn't need to move the pollen filter or ECU, just poked the cable though. Could probably do with something slightly thicker but atleast I know its dry and clear for now.

Quite a few members use a pipe bending spring of the appropriate size, I think mine is 12mm.

Any idea where I can get one?

I used the inner and outer cable so it was probably only about 5mm.

I guess it needs to be about 3 foot in lengh to ensure it goes through and touches the ground??

Loads on eBay or buy one from your local plumbers merchant, usually about 600mm long. Tie a piece of string on the end so you can pull it out if you drop it in too far. No need for it to be long enough to touch the floor.
