Fitted a new headlamp bulb (thanks Ronnie ) and contemplated how I was going to get home when I couldn't see out of the windows.

1400 miles last week, and the lad's looking more than a little grubby.

Still never mind it's raining this morning, so another self wash day

Swapped out my coolant rail, took this one off

And fitted a brand new one I found on the bay of E's

So I am now really pleased with myself because It only took 3 hours.

Default Towbar

Made my Tourer more useful:

The Bumper back on:

Just need to sort this out:

and get it looking like this:

Not a bad job, but bumper screws on a 13 year old car take a bit of fettling. The only hard point was getting the bolt above the exhaust back box in, I had to grind it down a bit to squeeze in above the box.

Default Removed a rodent!

Todays task was to remove the under-bonnet insulation that had been rodent damaged and replace it with a nice clean undamaged panel just sourced from the local scrappy.

I was surprised to find the culprit still in residence! But deceased, apparently something in the insulation material must have disagreed with it...

Default Sidelights

Fitted Philips WhiteVision halogen sidelights. They match the headlights now, a great improvement! Mind you, I didn't realise how bad the old ones were until I removed them, really blackened inside after 10 years' use. The blue tint doesn't show in the reflectors, which suits me fine.

Noticed a crack in the windscreen this morning after scraping the ice off, approx 7 inches long coming from the nearside bottom corner. Called autoglass through the insurance: due to be replaced on Saturday with a nice uncscratched, no chips screen, bit of a pain paying the excess but at least I get a nice clean screen.
