Default Interior headlining removal

Hi everyone, following on from my previous posts about water getting into my car i recently tried to pull my interior roof lining down a bit thinking there was some water trickling down from the sunroof behind it and now i cant get it back up and it looks a mess. Its also sagging a little bit at the back where the rear interior light is. In the end there wasnt actually any water leaking in from the sunroof so i wished i hadnt bothered. I contacted a specialist car upholstery company not too far away from where i live and surprisingly they didnt seem to want to tackle the actual removal of the headlining board itself but would be more than happy to re-cover it if i removed it myself and took it over to them. Has anyone ever tackled this themselves and also, something i hadnt considered, how do you actually get the board out of the car without removing the windscreen or something. The car is a ZT190SE with a sunroof. Thank you guys.

The story is mostly abut my woes with a sun roof, but Post # 8 onwards is about getting the headlining in.

Hi Mark,

The link worked for me and is now the most recent post in Members Projects and Modifications. I think the problem is that it's a Subscribers section. Essentially what Dave Lincs says above but with lots of pictures.

Sagging at the back is most likely the 2 rear roof fixings not engaged ..?

I would recommend hitting the blue subscribe button, failing that, try asking David75 for the original pictures.
