Morning - just .

Wall-to-wall cloud here, but quite bright and still dry. Had a deluge last night .

SWMBO came home with the news that 3 colleagues have resigned. As there's only about 4 dozen in total, that's quite a chunk. Maybe the "revised" contracts at the start of COVID which removed most of the benefits including the company sick pay and was supposed to be revised once there was a vaccine - but hasn't - might have something to do with it . Let's guess that the work will be shared out amongst those that are left which will almost certainly lead to more leaving...........

Waiting for the new handbrake bits to arrive so I can get on with that.

Take care.

We have the same carpet cleaner, had it a few years now and still does a good job.

Cool

Morning all you early risers. It’s getting on for 6 am, and I’m up and dressed.

The sky is grey.

Off to Lympsham Manor Gardens for a car show, taking the Bear as Banana is playing up. Meeting up a with few more cars on the way.

Morning everyone.

Raining overnight but dry now. The sun is trying to put in an appearance

SWMBO is planning on painting the new plaster in the bathroom so it's radiator drain down & remove time.

Have a good one.

Morning Ian and thank you. I spoke to the mechanic this morning and told him we like the car as it’s very comfortable, it’s practical and it’s not ready to be scrapped. We like the armchair seats, front and rear both recline, plenty of leg room and it’s not a struggle getting in and out of the car.

We found a cylinder head on google in mint condition at Rimmers Auto Spares in Nairobi for £560. It’s in a rough part of the town so I have asked the mechanic to take someone with him to check on the condition and the history of the head etc, Fortunately we have the use of a Jeep whilst ours is off the road.

Yesterday the weather was cold at 17C, this morning when I opened up the house it was sunny and warm outside, felt lovely

Morning all, how is everyone?

Andy is busy with radiators, a full day of activities. Good luck!

Fortunately we don’t have any need for central heating because of where we live but hay fever is all year round as we are surrounded by trees and the forest, a meadow is close to the house.
