Correction to my earlier post:
On the GREY ISO plug pin 7 is GREEN (with a tiny white rubber marker) and pin 8 is BLACK
When they would connect to the unit it will mean the pin 7 will mate with RED and the BLACK will mate to BLACK
How pathetic having a green wire as live
When I pluged the unit in just to see if it worked the other day, nothing blew up or blew any fuses.
Going to start snipping and connecting, geez wish me luck
Ken.

Connected everything to the unit, it boots up, everything works apart from DAB, it has a background buzzing noise that sounds like a church organ in the higest notes tuning up.
Says it found 24 stations put none play, I`m done for today so tomorrow I will check every connection.
Anyone any thoughts on this DAB noise?? and what to double check.
In the house it picked up a dozen or so stations and played clearly.

A small status report... Last saturday i did the whole update again (not the MCU), and to be sure i did it right i did it twice because apps, radiofrequentie memory and widgets disappear after each reboot.
In those 6 days i got only 2 reboots (knock on wood) but no apps that disappear, only the radio frequentie that were blank again. i'm happy that the radio is bit more stable but the high buzzing sound from the screen and that i am not able to swipe down, still remains.
An solution for those two things would be nice

The swipe down thing seems to me that the screen capacitive membrane is not located properly, not had any other reports of this from anyone else.
Not sure if Sean had either.

The high pitched sound could be capacitors but without hearing it in situ I can't say for sure.

Keep in touch with Sean on how things are going so he can be in the loop and offer any further assistance

I heard/read there is a new update on its way, can you tell us what the changes/fixes are in this update?
When will we receive this update Sean?

And did you have some answers or solutions from the factory about the buzzing sound and why I cannot swipe down with two fingers on the screen.

Greetings, walter

Hi Karl,

I can only do that if I receive it before we return it back to you.

At the moment we are re installing the current up to date firmware back on to your unit and checking it's stability .

If all is okay then I will contact you and between the three of us find out when this next firmware will be released so you can decide on the unit being returned for you to do at a later date or if it's imminent for me to to do it whilst at the shop

I must say, after 2 weeks no problem with the device, the Naval DAB app works flawless except from the wifi, full reception but very very slow download speed (0.65 mbps) while my phone and laptop reach speeds of 24 mbps in the car
.
Do you have any idea what's changed (changelog) or fixed in this update?

Hi Walter, are you saying that you have one of the few DAB apps from playstore and listening to music streaming it?
I`m strugling to understand what you are saying, maybe I`m being a dummy
I have not touched my Nav 3 for over a week, it`s half in and half out together with the IPK. I left it like that in case I had to change any cables at the back of the dash.
Regarding that high pitched buzzing I have not read anyone else with the problem.
I think I will reconnect the live feed and try and see if it is the earthing, it should not be because the DAB aerial is earthed by it`s own cable.
Ken.
