More work on the 1.8 today, had to modify the drop links slightly! And a nice Klarius back box fitted.

Changed the broken cable on the passenger door, just the headlights to polish and seal the rear light gaskets then it'll be mot time, nearly 10 years since the last one!

After the Dear old ZT shed a rear pad last weekend whilst taking grandson to his Footy training..

I had to bring forward this years rear Disc N pads replacement .

One side brake has still got 6-7mm of pad left, the other lost pad side had one pad at 2-3mm ish and the outer was 0.5 mm into the metal ( even with minimal braking getting home , less than 15 miles )

A bit strange as the Bosch pads were all done at the same time in 2019.

gave the auto box a bit of a workout manually and then graunchy gentle pedal pressure .

With careful use of discount codes and web searching ,,managed to get some QH discs and Bosch pads for 50 quids .( tight wad )

Sounds like the caliper piston is sticking so i would check that out before adding new pads.

Whispering Bob is at the NEC PC Resto Show on the Rover Sports Register stand. Attracting lots of attention for what is a work in progress.
