As I have already posted my MGZT 04 has a headlight sensor fitted to the front as well as one at the back of the car. The front one is not connected i.e. the arm from the clip on the suspension arm is missing. I have done a web search with no useful result. Do any of you know if this part is available, and what part number or is it the same as the rear? Thanks. Chris S.

the rear one is configured as a downward Vee not an upside down one as it should be as I have read in the many posts on this subject. It would appear it would not be possible to "flip" it up, there is not enough clearance above if so aligned for it to move. Have I got the wrong end of the stick?

I must have it wrong I thought this was your original question.

Talking

Just a heads up regarding the BMW part 37146752797- it can be obtained from BMW main dealers £5.82 and a .50litre bottle of their BMW branded drinking water from a very nice young lady. Chris S. PS it was today- very hot.

End of story I manufactured a clip as per "Artics" for the front, got a new arm from the BMW agent fitted same to front mechanism. So the front is as Suzublu picture upside down Vee and the rear a correct Vee. And they work as they should. Thanks for your various comments and advice. Chris S.
