For your intended mileage, I personally would not consider a diesel. My preference would be a V6.
I would always prioritize mechanical condition as well as the bodywork and interior condition over toys. Most toys never get used in real-life driving - for example, the heated seats on our Connie SE have never been used. Also, fabric seats are more comfortable than leather.... Unless the purchase is as a "cheap banger", always allow circa £1500 for a maintenance programme in order to take the car to a good and reliable mechanical state. An auto V6 will go nicely with the Ambiance of Mullion Cove and surrounding areas. I have driven my Omega V6 auto in the area on a number of family holidays and it was a real pleasure. Only two things from me as all the rest has been covered. If you want to waft along on a cloud of opulence its a 75 but if you would like a firmer ride and a car that travels flat through a bend with also the option of grabbing it by the watsits with a big stupid grin on your face , then its the ZT.
