There was a guy at the MG Car Club MGF / Z annual gathering at Gaydon this year (August) called the MG Badge Shop - Graham Shorter Tel.07812 698 847 email grahamandanita@blueyonder DOT co DOT uk. I bought a front badge for my ZT (£12) from him and was very pleased with it. Unlike the tin foil original this is a solid metal and resin badge - much better the the original. It even had the two mounting lugs cast on the back with a self adhesive backing. I have his business car somewhere and will post his details tomorrow when I find them.

New badge is on the left of the first two pics with old badge and badge surround next to it. 2nd from Right pic shows new badge in place. Third pic shows old badge and holes drilled to aid removal. As you can see in the blue bumper behind there is already a hole in the centre - so drilling a small pilot hole here means you can lever the old badge off. Firstly lever off the tin foil front badge from the chrome backing plate(Far right pic). Then you can use one or more pilot holes to lever off the chrome plastic backing. The plastic chrome surround does is not required (so it doesn't matter if you damage it) as the new solid metal badge has its own chrome edging.
