Default Whats your views on this car?

I'm thinking of taking my T reg cdt off the road for a few months to gradually sort out the cosmetics. In the meantime I saw this 2.0 V6 for sale, but am not sure, with its mileage, whether to have a look as its 95 miles away. What do you think of the car from details I have.

It's always worth asking if there is a member living locally to the sale car who might be able to take a look for you.

I did notice that, but you are over twice the distance away regrettably. Thanks anyway.

  • Nearside Front Suspension arm pin or bush excessively worn Rear bush (5.3.4 (a) (i))
  • Offside Front Suspension arm pin or bush excessively worn Rear bush (5.3.4 (a) (i))
Repair as soon as possible (minor defects):
  • Nearside Headlamp lens slightly defective (4.1.1 (b) (i))

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):

One thing I would ask about is IF and WHEN the Cam belts have been changed

Can be Expensive if they have not.

I'm not keen on that MoT history.

Rear tyres of different sizes... Why? Correct sized tyres are easy to find. Maybe someone's just gone for the cheapo option and, for the last thing between you and life changing injuries or death, that smacks of a poor attitude to servicing/maintenance/care to me.

That then makes me wonder about all the other servicing and general stuff that may have been neglected.

Engine cam belts has already been mentioned.

It might be a great car but tread carefully and give it a very thorough check over. Ask for lots of pictures of the inside and outside and all the paperwork/service history etc.

Andy.
