It's getting soup weather!, Just soaking me dried peas and rack of bacon ribs (to get the salt out) to make a pea & ham soup tomorrow. and a fresh Tiger loaf to go with it.

I'm off to take Mam for her pacemaker check up appointment at Bolton.

Well we went out to show our support for the RNLI and came back pretty much stocked up for Christmas having won the hamper that was first prize in the raffle.
Cheers Ian

Mornin', bright and sunny here, wee bit cool. Grazed the first joint on the ring finger of my right hand a while ago, think its got infected, finger is swollen and painful to bend. Took the ring off last night just in case, looking at the finger this morning it was probably a good move. Can't be bothered seeing the doc but its an awkward bit to try to soak in hot water/disinfectant or whatever without dunking my whole hand.

Morning all - it's a bright, sunny but rather cool day. We seem to have had a cold wind bringing the temperature down for a couple of weeks now - and funnily it's been blowing from what is usually a warm quarter - South/South West.

It's my son's 39th birthday today - he's making me feel old now
