Weird emails
I received a series of emails today, from someone whom I assumed from the first name was actually someone I knew, first asking me to confirm I had received it as their email out was unreliable, which I did. Their name was that of a male.
Then they asked me to confirm my phone number, then my mobile number which I did. They have included their mobile number to me. All of the emails were rather odd, in as much as if they were badly typed/ mis-spelled. The final one had its first paragraph in Welsh, with an apparently software derived translation below it in English. The English matched word for word Googles attempt to translate the Welsh into English. Annwyl oll gan fod problem wedi codi gydar ebost methu a setio i fynnu yn outlook gydar setting penodlo dymar ebost dwy ei ddefnyddio a fyddech cystall a dileu yr un blaenorol a denfyddio y cyferiad hyn ogydd Have I got a stalker, or is this some new fiddle, or might it even have a genuine purpose?

If it were me
Report it as Spam and block sender too while you are at it.
If you remember pyramid selling these things work in a similar way. They can capture your saved adresses and send similar to them and so on. I have no idea as to the purpose of these but it ain't to your benefit you can be sure. I hope you didn't click on any links in the mail you got and I would certainly run a virus check like now! Don't want to scare you at all but.......!

Thanks, but I'm still puzzled as to why he was writing to me in Welsh, he didn't sound Welsh at all and was struggling with spoken English.
