Help please? Problem opening passenger door from inside
I know I have just joined the forum but thought I may as well try first as I am baffled.
Just bought a Rover 75 Connoisseur SE 1.8 Manual reg jan 2004. All of a sudden the passenger door will not open from inside the car. Opens okay from outside and remote locks and unlocks fine. I have taken off the door card and the cable is attached to the internal door latch but I am now totalt baffled where to look next as I am unable to see the other end of the cable as it is inside the door frame. Any help on this matter would be very much appreciated. Doug |

I can see the problem now but how do you get to it?
The cable is disconnected from the door lock end. I can see a hole in a plate at the end of the cable. Does this just clip onto something or is it broken? How do you attach the cable to the lock? |
