Update,
Due tithe favourable welsh weather, I have made it good and left it. I have to be in work tomorrow and drive home tonight. Sunroof is in position, blind is as good as I can get it. So the car is weatherproof. There is a place in Bristol and I will ask them. Thanks All, |

I've had a look in RAVE for you. To refit the blind it basically says that it is first located in the RH (driver's) channel and the LH (passenger) guides, previously removed, are then screwed into position. This might explain why you're having trouble with the passenger side. To remove the LH guides, access is obtained by removing the sunroof glass panel which surprisingly is just six screws. Would you like me to scan the RAVE pages for you? If so, just PM me an e-mail address. Simon

Jack, thanks we just got home.
Simon, thanks that will be great incoming PM. I am kicking myself now, but given the weather factor, I am happy that we got it back in position. Forgive my ignorance but what is RAVE? It is great that I can come on here and get such fantastic support, you guys are ace. |

Well holy thread resurrection batman.
Received an emergency call from Dad, sunroof stuck again.... I resisted the temptation to say, "I told you not to open it as it will get stuck." Armed with my 9 yr old assistant, we undertook the 5 hour journey down the M4, last night. Traffic was mayhem. Today armed with the help from you guys on here and Simon's email printed off, it is fixed again. Armed with Arctic's guide I had a go at the drains, all are OK, except for a leak on the nearside rear, rodding gets me nowhere so out with the roof lining and the drain isn't connected??? It has been cut to a funny shape with two U cuts, I have a pic but can't work out how to post. So I cut it off square, but it is too small to go over the outlet, a cup of boiling water to soften it and a bit of a fiddle and we are there. Just like to say you chaps are ace. Yesterday may have been random act of kindness day, but your help has been the best. |

Update.
Mum has been poorly recently and so I have been down to see Mum and Dad a lot. I go on Wednesdays and every other Saturday, my sister alternates weekends. All the time Dad says the car is great. It passed it's MoT just before Christmas. So with the family I go down yesterday. Dad says, clutch isn't right. He has also had to chock the wheels as the handbrake isn't good. The car stinks of deep fried clutch plate. Jus standing by it you can smell it. Start the car. Clutch down, into gear, clutch up, car doesn't take up drive. In any gear including reverse. Put the car into gear, engine off, turn the key and it just starts. With the engine running it will allow you to select any gear at all, but won't move. New clutch time. |

Hi Calum. Hope you had a good Christmas. Sounds as though the clutch has burnt out,or does the clutch peddle go to the floor and you can not get gears? If the clutch is working normally then probably the clutch plate has given up the ghost. New clutch needed. Drop Trikey a p.m.
