Morning, sitting here with Radio 2 for company, power is off. It was planned, supposed to be off all day. To make matters worse the boiler had a fault during the night so the heating didn't come on. Cleared the fault and got the heating on but the power went off before the house had a chance to warm up.

The sun has come out here now & makes a nice change from dark cloudy skies albeit cold.

The grass looks like it's starting to grow & the bluebells/daffodil have started to sprout up from the soil, Spring is in the air in Lancashire.

That's a bummer Steve, It's cold outside 3C here but for the first time this year sitting in the conservatory is toasty with the sun shining.

What a foul, wet, cold, dark and thoroughly miserable day it is here. We've decided to abandon the weekly shopping trip until Saturday morning - if we get out about 9.00am, the supermarket car parks and aisles will be pretty empty.
We need to refill the larder - we've got a total of NINE for a late (4.00pm) Sunday dinner

Afternoon all, Boy is that wind nippy, I've been in the garage to sort some more stuff out I wont be using, that's me done my hands are freezing, I came across a couple of boxes of head gasket/holly carburettor gasket sets along with a carburettor balancing kit, there was even a few old ford escort/Cortina gasket sets in there along with a brand new Austin Montego engine rebuild kit

.....I have no idea where that came from

totally ruined by the damp

and three rear light lens for a MKlll Cortina, I keep finding odd numbers of these things

My mate came to call in his Ford F350 truck so I said is this lot any use to you, he has a fair few old classic cars as well so he took the lot

Might have made a booboo for tea tonight! Fajita meal, it looks hot just by looking at it
