I think it's for the best, took me over 2 hours to get back from Leicester last night just 40 miles, I was on the road for over 3 hours and saw no gritters what so ever.

3 members did attend the meet so we just had a coffee and chat in the house, it was nice to meet Tom, Michael and Stoj

Snowing heavily here now so it was the right result

I have removed my paypal address from the above post now as on a public forum, please pm me if you want it and thanks again for the contributions so far, it gives me a nice feeling to know there are members out there who care

A big thanks for all the financial contributions towards the food that have come in during the day but no more please !

I spent £88.50 and so far have received £85 via paypal thanks to your generosity, plus my £5 so thats £90 and I am £1.50 over !

I have put the meat in the freezer and it may reappear at the Ashes 2 day meet in May to cook around the camp fire at midnight for anyone peckish !

The Coffee and tea bags will also be taken to the Ashes as the kettle is normally on all day.

The bread will feed the birds

Once again sorry to have to postpone the meet but in the end it was the right decision.

At least someone is happy !

I was hoping to get my handbrake adjusted from the back wheel end but will have to settle with the way it is till we meet again ****** weather always ruins everything .

May have to see about a mini meet when the weather picks up
