I don't know if this will work (1st time)
Some of the pics arent great -phone - but interesting. The pictures are nesting birds on a bird table 5 feet off the ground. ermist/nest/004.jpg[/IMG] |

It was because I took all my conifers out in January that they moved there. The table was in the middle of the garden and in danger of blowing over. I screwed it to the wall and removed the pole while they were collecting for the nest. This is the second brood of 5 this year. |

I had also blackbird nesting in an old caravan. Chicks must have been two weeks old and disappeared. Think the magpie got them. Then a few weeks later I seen the hen sitting on another four eggs. Took my son into see them the following day only to discover that that pesky magpie has eaten them again.

Haven't seen any magpies round here yet but 3 or 4 weeks ago about 6 crows seem to have moved in to the area. The cockbird seems a lot thinner than a few weeks ago, he never stops flying backwards and forwards. |

This is from the third brood this year. Two broods of five, only four this time. The first ten chicks all survived to leave the nest,I hope these four do as well. They are certainly dedicated. |
