Default Digital camera batteries.

As digital cameras are a high drain unit, which are the best batteries to use?

Good quality lithium disposeable batteries.

or

High capacity rechargeables.

Any recommendations?

Hi VVC

I've tried both in my camera, which takes 2 AA batteries and I use NiMH 2500 mAh rechargeables, because; 1) They seem to be able to recharge the flash quicker until they expire and; 2) taking your charger with you on holiday means you don't have to hunt for shops selling batteries - I took over 1000 images stored to SD card on our last holiday. They're available at about £8 per pack of 4.
