Pics are very good for such a cheap camera..

Looks like your air intake is right behind the rad, logically it will be pulling in warmer air there, it might be causing a slight power loss if that's the case...

I intend to fit a alloy shroude to limit the heat also i fitted a cold air feed, which is'nt seen in the photo under the filter. but i can see your point

Another poss problem is:- In the event of overheating the air intake is going to pull in loads of water when the rad cap valve opens!

It has also been known for the expansion tanks to split along the seams spraying water everywhere.

I really do think you need to re site the air intake, get it well away from any water stuff.. Better safe than sorry..

I here what your saying but with the lack if space there isnt much i can do unless i move it closer to the battery. never had a problem with other cars but do you have a sugestion on re-placement of the filter, or maybe inclose it with a alloy box

Is there any room down in front of the passenger side wheel liner? If so extend the air pipe a bit and if poss have it bend upward right by the intake, then you could drill a couple of small drain holes at the bottom of the bend just in case any road spray gets in..

For a £20 camera those photos look very good. Some bloke keeps parking his car in your way though!
