Bought some Goodyear eagle asymetric 5's from asda online last week and had them fitted today, about £30 odd quid cheaper than the same garage.

Cool

Checked the fluid levels on both cars, just the Bear needed some oil to top up the supercharger. It was last changed on 60k, needs to be changed at the next service. Which if this lockdown continues will be in a few years time.

Nice simple 5 minute job after dinner to refit the front subframe braces after repainting them.

Still not got round to swapping the engine loom, but equally the more I think the more I doubt that will fix my cold running issue.
Feel like I need to start diagnosing from square 1 with it, just wish I had a sounding board to talk my thinking through with.

Do NOT say you were testing your eyesight! You are NOT a government advisor. I expect you would have the foresight to realise that there would be fallout if you did say something so unreasonable and idiotic.

It would, however be reasonable for you to say you had broken down. Any judge would look at the car and say 'ah, it is a Rover. Case dismissed! Quite obviously, the man has head gasket issues'.

No problem David, simply get your back end up to Barney, and revel in the luxury of the Frabtel Drive Through Eye Testeromat 2000™, and all of you myopia worries will fade away, thus leaving you safe to drive to Birmingham in total comfort

Hi Dave. Let us know how they wear. I had some on the Rover V8 SD1 and they seemed to wear out quicker than normal. In fact, I still have a wheel from that car with the XVS tyre still on it. A relic now. A bit like me!!
