Matrix seats
Hi guys
Quick question, are the black side sections on matrix seats real leather or faux? I am going to need a repair this year and am not sure what material to tell prospective repairers I need fixing... Cheers! |

It’s not real leather not sure what it is but they’ll be able to identify it when quoting for repairs.

I didnt think it was but always prudent to check! Whatever it is it splits too easily! I priced a new cover as it looks in stock but over £200!

I want to try and keep her as is if I can Andy. I'll see if it can be fixed as the other seats are like new. Its weird but I feel like she has to stay like Paul had her. Maybe that's just me being daft.

But I had a lovely set of blue and yellow matrix on my trophy blue ZTT - however the drivers bolster was seriously split. A repair was far more expensive than a reasonable set of grey alcantara second hand - so I did the swap. Sorry to suggest this but have you thought about what Paul would have done faced with a split seat?.... |

I like the look of leather and 50/50 but in the winter, I prefer fabric. Those pesky heated seats are just too slow!

The seat was split when he bought her. He had intended to get it repaired. I dont think he knew the cost though. I will see what they say. If I did change Id want what was in my Contemporary.
