I was prepared to go further; I just wasn't fast enough.

I should have just bought a second-hand Audi. At least it's not hard to get hold of one with the toys you want and the look, even if they are everywhere.

I used to work at Audi between 1998-2000 and really REALLY like the A6 and A8. They had an S8 in the showroom, and it had everything. 4.2 V8, semi automatic, electric everything, leather. Seats were heated and even had a massage function that pummeled your lower back as you wafted along. Carried a £55,000 price tag at the time. I keep looking on the trader for one

If I had the kind of disposable income that nets me that, I wouldn't be kicking myself over a "mere" £3,500 Rover 75.

It was a lucky day for me yesterday - the seller got the money and I got the car. So I must say that I'm quite happy. Paintwork is very nice and the car drives even better than V6. If the cruise control, a speedo with trip computer and FBH will be added, it will be an ideal car for weddings and personal use.

Wow Rain, a 2nd LWb to add to your award winning Dark Fantasy one.

You collecting limos my friend?

Glad it has gone to an obvious enthusiast at least. Are you going to convert this one to Left Hand Drive as well?

My pockets are empty now - too expensive to drive back, so the car goes to the ferry and I will fly, its twice cheaper. If to use the car at home for the weddings, it could be nice, if the driver could step straight to the sidewalk to open the back door. LWB conversion from RHD to LHD has to wait, until I get my P4 restored .
