I mistakenly thought it was on Saturday.
I'll try to get there but can't guarantee Mo will be ready in time. Quite a bit of work to do and looks like a lot of rain in the forecast for this week.
I'll try tho.
I'm aiming for Lakeland

Likewise, l gave mine a nice wash & polish on Saturday. We're leaving Friday morning to collect my OEM top box & bikerack from Brum en route to Stratford, our base for the weekend. I'll find a convenient hand wash yard to give a final once-over on the car before the shows.

Pity as this event is only 40 minutes drive for me and you need to take full advantage of the local ones. I will enjoy the pics as and when they are posted on here!
Sorry you cannot be there. I live near Cheltenham as well. I recently purchased my Gold Rover 75 locally from the Cotswolds and I am taking it on Sunday because I new to Rover cars and hoping to get information from experienced Rover dealers. Well actually this is my second Rover and I bought my first one from the same dealer in the Cotswolds as a company car and to transport my gundogs to events. I just bought my first Rover because it had a BMW diesel engine and I thought it would cope with the high mileage I was covering. It didn't let me down.

Not going to have the time or weather to do all the prep I'd like but looking forward to seeing whoever makes it on Saturday.

Family stuff on Sunday so I'll have to make the most of Saturday.

Have a safe journey all.

Andy.

Hopefully we'll have some good weather on Sunday.

Not happy!

Took the front off side wheel off this morning to spruce up the wheel arch and clean the wheel back. Didn't really need doing, but with Roverfest coming up, I want her to look her best. cleaned everything up and gave the tyre sidewall a good clean, finishing off with some tyre dressing. Nice. Decided to leave the other wheel 'till a nicer day so started to pack everything away. PIcked up the trolley jack, carried it through the side door of the car port. The door swung shut behind me, hit the back of the trolley jack, and knocked it into the front wing of my Baby. Net result: big chunk of paint taken out of the front wing. It looks awful.

Really, really wish I had left it 'till Friday as I had planned.

Cliff

Yup, you could say that. Lots of swearing was involved.

As it happens, the car is booked into a bodyshop in a weeks time to fix a couple of longstanding stone chips, so it just means the bill will be somewhat higher than I was originally expecting. Just kicking myself that I wasn't more careful carrying the trolley jack past the car.

Oh well, lesson learned I suppose.

Cliff
