i bought a satnav which has a warning ping on it when I go over the speed limit for an area - you can disable it if you don't want to hear it. It's useful for average speed camera checks when you can go a few miles and have to be below 50 or whatever.

75 already has this feature if you have IPK fitted.

I have an e-cig holder, reachable without leaning forward, and a 'change pot' which is a spectacle case fixed with double sided tape. The 75 se has lots of toys but I just add things personal to me.....when i think of them. SWMBO likes the multi usb's for her phone/tablet/e-cig.

Long ago, I once had a car broken into for some small change in a pot, which was visible with car left parked and locked. Never habitually leave a car with anything of any value on display.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

One thing I miss so much is cruise control. Done the Scottish holiday in my Dad's Saab, and used the CC every day. Motorway driving made SSSSOOOO much easier and comfortable. Average speed limits? No problem! Can rest both legs, and not end up with calf cramp after 8 hours driving. WHY didn't I get a 75 with cruise control? Has to be the singular most useful device for covering long days and distances.

And that's why I'm looking to retro fit cruise control to my diesel.

After much reading (thanks all) it looks time consuming but not actually too difficult .

Phil T4 has just fitted cruise control to my manual diesel and it works very well. It is ideal for maintaining the lower speed limits without have to watch the speedo all the time.

The lowest speed at which you can activate it, is a true 22/23 mph.

That sounds great! If you don't mind me asking, what sort of price is it? I'm incapable of doing it myself so would have to pay someone to do it for me.
