Valeo key blades
Can anyone get Genuine valeo key blanks?
I got a few different chinese/ebay key blanks, and they all seem to be an absolutely rubbish fit in the spare shells I have. The original key blade I swapped out was tight as a drum, so I can only assume its rubbish quality control on the moulded bit of plastic on the end of the key where its snaps in to the shell. If these are not attainable, has anyone taken their original plastic bit and re-purposed it with a replacement blank blade? |

Hi, I put the old blade in the new case and it is loose, so it isn't the plastic bit at the end of the blade, it's the new case being slightly bigger than it should be

Russ did me a key a couple of years ago and even then he commented that himself and Brian were finding it difficult to get good quality blank keys/fobs.

I removed a blade very easily from its casing yesterday and put it into a new one that I had purchased and it fits like a glove. I was even surprised myself how easily the swop over went ..
