Metal thermostats
Hi Kaiser,
Thank you for forwarding the information. I have taken the manifolds off and the leak is at the straight pipe where it joins the housing. I am going to try and get the thermostat off without breaking it and then will go from there. One point, with regard to your metal thermostat I gather that it opens at a much lower temperature than standard. Is it possible to change the thermostat for another one? Regards, Martin |

If the thermostat fits, it can be fitted. The unit starts opening at 80.
With this thermostat you will see typical temperatures from 85 to 95, when driving.
