High pitched noise from rear rh side of tourer.
Hi All,
I noticed a constant high pitched noise from rear of my Rover 75 tourer this morning, found out where it was coming from , at the rear behind the cover where the CD used to be housed. On closer inspection it seems to be coming from the wiring loom that's behind it seemed a tad wet so I dried the l9om and area ,but the noise still continues. Firstly what is all the wiring loom for secondly any ideas what might be causing it and lastly help . Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk |

The loom is for all the electrical bits at the back end of your car.
Lights, wipers etc. Listen for the noise down a piece of small diameter tube. You will be able to accurately trace its position like that.---- |

It's very annoying when somebody puts an identical post in two separate areas of the forum.
You answer one to find it's being ignored only to find the second identical post being answered elsewhere.--- |

Also worth checking the sounder (If the vehicle has a tow bar fitted)
Had one to sort out with a high pitched squeal which came from the squeaker box telling the driver the towed item is still connected. These items can be found in all styles of condition ranging from corroded connections to swimming in the wheel well. |
